This award recognises the achievements of a sole operator who runs their business independently, without any employees. It celebrates individuals who wear every hat — from marketing and operations to customer service and delivery — and still manage to achieve excellence.

Eligibility:
Open to businesses in the Rockingham and Kwinana region that are operated solely by one person, with no additional staff working permanently in the business in the Rockingham and Kwinana Region.

Micro Business

Award

This award celebrates small but mighty businesses with a team of 1 to 4 employees that punch above their weight. It recognises outstanding achievement, innovation, and resilience in businesses that are making a big impact with a small team.

Eligibility:
Open to businesses in the Rockingham and Kwinana region with between 1 and 4 employees working permanently in the business (including the owner/operator).

Award

This award recognises a small to medium enterprise that demonstrates outstanding performance, innovation, and leadership. With a team of 5 to 29 (including the owner/operator), these businesses are the backbone of our local economy — delivering quality services, growing sustainably, and contributing meaningfully to the Rockingham and Kwinana community.

Eligibility:
Open to businesses with between 5 and 29 employees (including the owner/operator) operating in or servicing the Rockingham and Kwinana region.
