Ms Maria Rennie UK Consul General
Maria Rennie was appointed as the British Consul General for Western Australia in July 2023 and has been a member of the British diplomatic service since 2002. She has worked in over 25 British diplomatic posts overseas in a variety of roles, and most recently as the Deputy Consul General to the Midwest of the United States and as Head of the Crisis Training and Policy Team operationalising the UK's response to over 35 international crises during a 5 year period
Ms Colleen Altstock.US Consul General
Consul General Altstock begins her three-year diplomatic assignment in Western Australia, serving as the United States’ most senior government official in the state. Consul General Altstock brings more than two decades of diplomatic experience, most recently serving at the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai as the Economic and Political Section Chief. Her other overseas postings include U.S. Embassy in Beijing, the U.S. Consulate in Shenyang and the U.S. Embassy in Astana, Kazakhstan. She has also had multiple leadership roles in Washington, D.C.
Originally from Seattle, Consul General Altstock holds degrees in International Studies, Economics, and Asian Studies from the University of Washington.
Both Consul Generals will provide insightful updates on the relationship between WA, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the opportunities for Western Australian businesses – particularly in the local Rockingham area.

The Key Leaders in Business Breakfast is supported by the City of Rockingham. The breakfast runs four times per year, and is open to business owners of all sizes and structures within the Rockingham area. At each event you will hear an informative speaker discussing topics of relevance to the business community in the District.
The Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce facilitates the breakfasts on behalf of the City of Rockingham, and encourages all members and non-members to attend.
